Vincenzo Errante (1890 – 1951)

The scholar was a Professor of literature at the University of Milan.

After the second world war, he withdrew from the Magisterium and worked and lived isolated here in the house up to the tragic end of his stay. He is still regarded as the most important figure in literary circles, which is the translation into Italian the works of Virgilio, Shakespeare, Schiller, Goethe, and Ibbsen, (just to name a few) has made a name.

Approx. 80 sqm, located on the ground floor of the left wing of the house and suitable for four persons.

With the exceptional apartment, the guests are immersed deeply into the history of the estate.

The vault that spans the entire unit is one of the foundations from the 14th century.nThrough a walk-in glass door, one enters the large living room, which impresses about thegrandeur of the building and is completed by a fireplace at the front . We sensitively enriched the kitchen integrating it with a sink, which originates from the founding of the Villa. The rustic décor consists of original pieces, coming from the Villa, or the area.Two separate bedrooms, which are stylish and individually decorated belong to the apartment: one with a double bed, the other with bunk bed. (Ideal for families with children!) The attire of the guests is housed in a separate cloakroom, which combines living and sleeping area and bathroom (shower, washbasin, bidet and WC).
