Apartment
S. Cassiano

“Baron Fiorio di San Cassiano” is the title, his Majesty, the Prince-elector Carl Theodor of Bavaria the rivaner paper manufacturer Giuseppe Fiorio, awarded in recognition of his accomplishments.

The holiday apartment in original condition from 1810 was used by him and claimed the whole area of the first floor in the right wing of the House.

APARTMENT SAN CASSIANO 140 SQM, COVERS THE ENTIRE FIRST FLOOR OF THE RIGHT WING OF THE HOUSE AND IS SUITABLE FOR FOUR PERSONS (ON REQUEST 5/6).

It consists today of the impressive Salon living room, two large double bedrooms, that served previously as a library and small lounge. The large central room with its four harmonious windows and three doors, the original parquet floors, the ceramic stove and double leaf doors are also witnesses of the time.

During some renovation works in the winter of 2014 strictly geometric wall paintings in the large hall in “San Cassiano” apartment were brought to light, which date back to 1650. A few years earlier, in the winter of 2009 we had discovered similar murals in one of the small salons today used as a bedroom. These paintings go back to 1800ca. It emerged they were possible copies of the ones discovered in the large hall mentioned before. We could therefore see that already in the heyday of the paper mill this place was inhabited. The former lounges are two large bedrooms, with two large windows from which you can enjoy a magnificent view. The ivory-coloured modern and spacious kitchen harmonises with the red-and white Veronese marble fashions, which is laid in a checkerboard pattern. Located here, as well as everything you would expect from a well equipped kitchen, is a second elegant dining area. Two separate bathrooms with shower, basin, bidet and WC belong to the unit.
